grandma: asaan si patrick ewing? (where is patrick ewing?) 

me: hahahahaha no lola, he retired

grandma: dati talo sila palagi kay jordan ( they used to lose to jordan all the time)

idk why but i’m somewhat impressed by my grandma knowing who patrick ewing is and the fact that the knicks always got decimated by jordan and the bulls during the 90s.
